Credit Card Numbers:

We don’t collect credit card numbers on our system. That’s all handled by the Professional Credit Card Payment Processors and the Bank that issued you your card. When you make a purchase, or create an account on our website, your transactional information is transmitted in a safe, encrypted format.

Terms of a sale:

All information in the Billing area of our Cart must be solid good information, address, names, phone, ect
All information in the shipping area of our Cart must be solid good information, address, names, phone, ect
We don't sell outside of the continental United States.
The Credit Card you enter must be a US Card.
If you live outside of the continental United States, you must have a US Citizen complete your order for you!
We will contact and research all information before we charge a credit card, again all information must be correct and contactable.
Do not use cell Phone numbers. The phone number must match the home address in the billing and shipping sections.

Taxes:

With the ongoing changes in all the States within the United States, We will have to charge Sales Tax where applicable. GreatLakesBuy resides in Michigan so Sales to the State of Michigan will be charged 6% Sales Tax.

Shipping:

Please note that the delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Some items are special order and or custom made items and may take much longer for delivery than other items. If an item you order is out of stock, we will contact you ASAP.

1. You can wait for stock to be re-supplied. In this case your Credit Card will be either not charged or if the warehouse said it had stock and the Information was not sent to us and we charged your card, we will reimburse your account. Credit card will be reimbursed if and only if it’s been charged. This is for the item that was out of stock only.

2. You may cancel that part of your order. If the item restocks soon we will E-Mail you to see if you may still want the item. That's if we have your E-Mail address on file.

Most Products will either ship by UPS, USPS or FedEx within 3 business days of your order date. (Most ship in 1-2 days)

Insurance:

Some items may require insurance. This will protect your delivery. If you do not pay for the insurance, we can not and will not be responsible. UPS has free insurance for items under $100.00.

Returns:

If you need to return an item, e-mail us at customerservice@greatlakesbuy.com and inform us of the reason for the return. If we authorize a return, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA)

No Products will be Returned without an RMA number. Some items may be non-returnable as noted in this document.
If we do Authorize a Return the terms listed below apply!

Preparing the Merchandise for Return:

Pack up all parts for the Return. Merchandise must be in Resalable Condition

Try to make it look as if it were on a store shelf.

Important, don’t write on or damage the retail box so GreatLakesBuy can fix it and sell it as refurbished.

The RA# must be clearly visible on the outside of the package.

Do not write or apply shipping labels directly on the manufacturers packaging.

Box all returns in appropriate shipping cartons. Preferably in the shipping box it came in.

All returns must be received within 15 days of the RA issue date. After 15 days the RA will be cancelled.

GreatLakesBuy will not issue a second RA# for the same product.

GreatLakesBuy will subtract any amount from your return funds for any item components discovered missing. (Missing parts could include Cables, Manuals, Retail Box parts, etc.)

Credit is given on Returned Merchandise after GreatLakesBuy Receives and Inspects the Return Merchandise.

Important: Restocking Fees applies to the following the Rules Minus Shipping.

Unopened Merchandise will get full amount applied.

Opened Unused Merchandise will be charged a 15% Fee. (Cost of Reselling as refurbished)

Used Merchandise will be charged a 25% fee. (Cost of Reselling as used)

Broken Merchandise will be sent back to Customer with no Refund.

Acceptance of this RA indicates customer has agreed to this Return Letter.

Important: You must provide a signature below (in the Email we send to you) and send a Signed Copy of this letter with the Merchandise to show that you are in Acceptance with these Terms that are provided in our Terms and Conditions page at our Web Site in which you agreed to in our Cart. Failure to provide this information may void the Money Owed to You.

GreatLakesBuy is not responsible for freight charges or shipping charges for any returned item.

GreatLakesBuy reserves the right to charge a minimum of 15% to 25% fees for restocking, processing and cancellation on any and all returned items. ( See "Preparing the Merchandise for Return" ) If returned item is an unopened Item then customer will receive a store credit for the original purchase price less a minimum 15% restocking and cancellation fee. if the item has been opened, then the item must be in the original packaging and in resalable condition.

All Electronics:
Are sold as non-returnable items after 15 Days of delivery. Keep in mind about our restocking fees noted above.

ALL SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NONREFUNDABLE. ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES ALLOWED AFTER 30 DAYS
(15 Days for Electronics) FROM CUSTOMER’S RECEIPT OF MERCHANDISE.

All damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be reported within 24 hours of package delivery.

For most merchandise, items are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year. If you wish to submit a Returned Merchandise claim, please do so by Emailing us at customersupport@greatlakesbuy.com further specific instructions will be given within 1-3 business days. Please, do not send back unauthorized products for return. Otherwise, the return claim may be automatically rejected.

Any unauthorized returns will not necessarily be re-stocked and/or refunded. Please note that payment refunds occur only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement.

CLAIMS FILED WITHIN 24 HOURS

As a reminder, all damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be informed with 24 hours of package delivery. Otherwise, return claims may be delayed and/or rejected. NO exceptions.

GreatLakesBuy stands by the quality and craftsmanship of all available merchandise. We will work with our Customers to the best of our ability regarding any merchandise returns and/or shipping concerns.

SIGNATURE REQUIRED DELIVERIES

Please note that GreatLakesBuy does not offer signature on delivery for shipments unless specified below.

For certain product lines, GreatLakesBuy requires signature on delivery to minimize potential delivery fraud. If the receiving party (i.e. customer) waves the signature required for order delivery, GreatLakesBuy takes no financial responsibility for the "lost package liability". It’s Important to Insure the Item. GreatLakesBuy currently requires signatures for the following manufacturer lines:
